Torn between a few designs? Share them with your team or your friends and let everyone vote. Here is how it works, from design to order.
Step by step
Make a design
Design an armband in the designer, or open an armband from the collection and change it.
Share the armband
Open ‘Share with your team’: on a large screen it sits above the design panel, on your phone under the ‘Size’ tab. Click ‘Share this version’ there. We save the armband exactly as it is on your screen at that moment, and you get a link of its own. Copy it, or send it with ‘Send via WhatsApp’. Whoever opens the link sees the armband in 3D. Changed the armband afterwards? Click ‘Share this version’ again for a new link.
Collect two to four versions
Click ‘Put this version in the vote’: the armband goes into the ‘Vote list’ as ‘Version 1’. Change the armband in the same designer and click ‘Put this version in the vote’ again; that version is saved and added. No need to reload or open a new designer, and a completely different armband is fine too. Tap a name to change it, or remove a version with the cross. One vote holds four.
Start the vote
Once two or more versions are in the ‘Vote list’, click ‘Start the vote’. The vote's link appears straight away, large on screen. Copy it or send it to your team with ‘Vote via WhatsApp’, for example in the group chat.
Everyone votes
Whoever opens the link sees the armbands side by side and picks one with ‘This one!’. No login is needed, and adding a name is optional. One vote counts per phone or browser; choosing another armband later moves that vote.
Follow the count and close it
You see the count in the vote itself and under ‘My votes’: next to the vote list in the designer, and in your account when you are logged in. Has your team chosen? Click ‘Close vote’. After that nobody can vote any more and everyone with the link sees the result.
Order the winner
Click ‘Open in the designer’ at the winner, in the result or under ‘My votes’. The armband opens in the designer: choose the size, change it if needed, and order it. That works with any other version too.
Frequently asked questions
Where is the vote stored?
The vote and the votes are stored on our own server in the EU; no other party is involved. Your browser remembers which votes you started, with a secret key that only lets you close them. If you are logged in, the vote also belongs to your account. The ‘Vote list’ with versions you are still collecting is kept only in your own browser.
Can I still change a shared design?
The link shows a fixed copy of the armband as it was when you shared it. If you change the armband afterwards, the link says it still shows the previous version; click ‘Share this version’ for a new link. Share an armband that has not changed and you get the same link back, with no duplicate under My designs. If you open a shared armband under My designs and choose ‘Overwrite existing design’ when saving, the shared link does change along with it, in a vote too.
How do I add a changed version?
Change the armband in the same designer and click ‘Put this version in the vote’. The new version is saved and goes into the ‘Vote list’; the previous one stays in it. If it already holds four, first remove one with the cross.
Who sees the votes?
Everyone with the vote's link sees how many votes each armband has, and the names voters filled in. Who voted for which armband is not shown. Shared armbands and votes cannot be found through Google: only people who get the link can open them.
I lost the vote's link. What now?
Open the designer in the same browser: under ‘My votes’ you find the link of every running vote. If you are logged in, you find it on any device in your account under My designs. Did you start it without logging in, in another browser? Ask someone who already voted to send the link back.
